It started on a warm Sydney evening.

My sister and I were sitting in our courtyard, glasses in hand, still dreaming about Europe. We had just returned from the Amalfi coast -stunning apartments overlooking the ocean, mornings at the grotto, evenings wandering laneways that felt like they had been waiting for us our whole lives.

We walked down the Champs-Élysées from our Paris apartment at dawn. Stood on a Capri terrace watching the Mediterranean turn gold at sunset.

"Why can't we just swap? Our beautiful home for someone's beautiful place in London? They want to explore Australia. We want to explore the world. Everyone wins."
