JGo is fundamentally different in three ways. First, it's a trusted community not marketplace. Every JGo member is personally vetted. We don't accept everyone. We curate everything. Second, it's an exchange not rental. You don't pay for accommodation. You exchange your home for someone else's. The only cash costs are a small platform fee and cleaning. Third, its about living not visiting. JGo puts you inside a real home, in a real neighbourhood. Not a tourist trap. A local experience.

JGo has four memberships to suit every lifestyle.
- Local at $399 per year, 2 swaps, domestic Australia only, perfect for exploring your backyard.
- Roamer at $749 per year,unlimited swaps worldwide, perfect for frequent travellers and hybrid workers.
- Voyager at $999 per year ,2 long stays of 2 weeks to 4 months, perfect for retirees and holiday makers.
- Global Citizen at $1,499 per year with unlimited stays in extraordinary homes worldwide, by invitation or referral only.
Yes!! JGo gift memberships are available for all tiers. Perfect for gifting parents a Voyager membership, corporate gifts for colleagues, or birthday and Christmas gifts. Gift cards are available digitally or as a beautiful physical card. The recipient activates their membership online and completes their profile and verification.
Absolutely!! Upgrading is easy and encouraged. Simply go to your member dashboard, select your new tier and pay the difference for the remainder of your annual membership.
For example, if you join as a Local in January at $399 and want to upgrade to Roamer in June, you pay just $292, the pro-rata difference for the remaining 6 months!! ✅
Yes, absolutely and unconditionally. Founding members who join before 1st Aug 2026 pay today's price forever. As JGo grows and membership prices increase ,your price never changes. This is our promise to the people who believed in JGo from the beginning. ✨
Yes!! Renters are warmly welcome at JGo. Simply provide written confirmation that your landlord has given permission for home exchange stays — and you're in!!
Renter membership includes:

Your Home
Any beautiful, well maintained home-apartment, house, townhouse, villa or estate. Your home must be your primary or secondary residence, meet JGo minimum quality standards, have at least 1 bedroom, be clean and well equipped, have reliable WiFi and pass our photo verification process.
Every JGo home is rated on six factors-size, quality, style, location, views and features, and amenities. Based on these factors your home is assigned one of four ratings.
- Standard earns 100 points per night.
- Premium earns 150 points per night.
- Luxury earns 200 points per night.
- Estate earns 400 points per night.
Your rating determines how many points you earn per night hosted.
- Standard,100 points per night. Well maintained 1-2 bedroom home in a good location with basic amenities.
- Premium,150 points per night. Beautiful 2-3 bedroom home in a premium location with quality finishes.
- Luxury,200 points per night. Exceptional 3+ bedroom home in a prime location with designer interiors, views or pool.
- Estate,400 points per night. Ultra premium private estate with extraordinary location and white glove amenities.
Absolutely!! As a JGo host you are always in control. You can review every swap request before accepting including the guest's profile, reviews and personal message. You have 48 hours to accept or decline any request. No questions asked. Your home, your choice.

- Stock the basics like fresh towels, clean linen, coffee and tea
- Leave a welcome guide with your favourite local restaurants, cafes and hidden gems, ensure WiFi details are clearly displayed, and
- Take great photos in natural light.
Remember,your home is someone's dream destination. Treat it that way.
No!! This is one of JGo's most important features. Swaps do NOT need to happen at the same time. You earn points when YOU host. You spend points whenever YOU travel.
For example,you host a guest in March earning 1,050 points. You use those points to stay in Barcelona in September. Your Barcelona host earns points they'll use in December. Everyone travels when it suits them!!

Think of points as your JGo currency.
- 1 point = $1 AUD in value.
You earn points when guests stay in your home and spend points when you stay in someone else's home. For example — host a guest for 7 nights in your Premium Sydney home and earn 1,050 points worth $1,050 in travel. Spend those points staying 7 nights in a Premium London apartment paying only the platform fee and cleaning.
Total cash cost $234 vs $2,450 in hotels. Saving $2,216!!
Points are valid for 24 months from the date they are earned. You will receive an automatic reminder 90 days before any points are due to expire. Points cannot be converted to cash but can be gifted to another JGo member.

No problem!! You have three options.
- First:t op up with cash at $1 per point with discounts available based on your membership tier and review rating.
- Second: choose a lower tier home and select a Standard home instead of Premium which requires fewer points.
- Third: earn more points first by hosting more guests before your next stay.
We always make sure you have options!!
Discounts are based on your membership tier AND if your review rating exceeds 4.5 stars.
- Local members - 5%discount.
- Roamer members - 10% discount
- Voyager members - 15% discount.
- Global Citizen members - 20% discount.

Making a Swap
JGo offers five exciting swap types.
- City to City, e.g, Brisbane to Sydney, Perth to Melbourne.
- City to Country,e.g,Melbourne to Yarra Valley, Sydney to Hunter Valley.
- Country to City, e.g, Byron Bay to Sydney, Barossa Valley to Melbourne.
- City to Coast, e.g,Sydney to Gold Coast, Melbourne to Noosa.
- And for Roamer, Voyager and Global Citizen members — International swaps across all our global cities!!
It's simple!!
- Browse available homes in your destination, check your points balance, send a swap request with a personal message introducing yourself, and wait for the host to respond within 48 hours.
- Once accepted both parties receive the pre-stay checklist, the security deposit is collected automatically and you're ready to go!!
Once your swap is confirmed you an expect the following :
- Both parties receive a pre-stay checklist.
- The security deposit is collected automatically by JGo.
- You'll receive your host's welcome guide with local recommendations, WiFi details and everything you need to feel at home.
- JGo concierge is available throughout your stay if you need anything. Enjoy!!
If the home is significantly different from its listing ,contact JGo within 24 hours of arrival. We will investigate immediately, and if the complaint is valid, refund your points in full and issue a formal warning to the host. Two valid complaints against a host results in removal from JGo. Your trust is our most valuable asset.
JGo has a fair cancellation policy for both guests and hosts.
For guests:
- 30 or more days notice -100% points refund.
- 14 to 29 days notice - 75% points refund.
- 7 to 13 days notice - 50% points refund.
- 0 to 6 days notice - 25% points refund.
- No show — 0% refund.
For hosts : For cancellations under 7 days the host automatically receives 50% of points as compensation.
All refunds are processed automatically within 48 hours
Frequently Asked Questions
Safety & Trust
Every JGo member goes through our three level verification.
- Level 1 : all members are email verified, phone verified and social media profile or professional reference ( FB/Insta/LinkedIn profile)
- Level 2 : Local and Roamer members -ID including passport or drivers licence, plus one proof of home ownership such as a council rates notice, mortgage statement, title deed or home insurance policy.
- Level 3 :Voyager and Global Citizen members -everything above plus a video call with the JGo team and a personal reference.
Your safety is our priority.
Every stay requires a fully refundable security deposit held by JGo, not the host.
- Standard homes - $500 AUD.
- Premium homes - $750 AUD.
- Luxury homes - $1,000 AUD.
- Estates - $2,000 AUD.
The deposit is automatically refunded within 5 business days of checkout provided no damage is reported. Your home is always protected.
Report any damage within 48 hours of checkout through the JGo platform. Upload before and after photos and submit a repair quote if available.
The guest is automatically notified and has 24 hours to respond. JGo reviews all evidence and if the claim is valid payment is made automatically from the security deposit.
Any remaining deposit is returned to the guest automatically. Serious or repeated damage results in permanent removal from JGo.
JGo uses a three layer dispute resolution system.
- Layer 1: Both parties submit their version of events with evidence. If both agree the dispute is automatically resolved.
- Layer 2: If parties disagree our system reviews all evidence including photos, messages and timestamps and makes a ruling based on JGo policy.
- Layer 3: for complex cases only a JGo team member reviews within 48 hours and makes a final decision.
Less than 1% of all stays ever reach Layer 3. You are kept informed automatically at every step.

Reviews & Standards
After every stay both the guest AND the host leave a review. Reviews are hidden until both are submitted - this prevents bias and ensures honest feedback.
Once both reviews are submitted they are published simultaneously.
Reviews cover accuracy, cleanliness, communication, respect and overall experience out of 5 stars.
Honest reviews keep our community extraordinary
We want every member to succeed.
- So if your rating drops below 4.0, we send an automatic warning email with tips and guidance to improve. You have 90 days to bring your rating back above 4.0. If your rating improves - all good!!
- If it stays below 4.0 after 90 days your account is suspended and reviewed by the JGo team.
- Suspension is always a last resort; we are here to help you succeed.
Every JGo home and member must meet our community standards.
- For homes : Minimum quality photography, accurate listing description, clean and well maintained presentation, reliable WiFi and a welcome guide & offer for guests.
- For members : Identity verified, respectful behaviour, prompt communication within 24 hours, home left in the same condition as found and a minimum 4.0 star rating maintained at all times.
JGo is not just a platform. It is a community built on trust, taste and respect.
JGo has a zero tolerance policy for members who break our community standards.
- Minor breaches receive a formal warning.
- Two valid complaints result in permanent removal from the platform.
- Any member found to have misrepresented their home, damaged a property, behaved disrespectfully or violated our community standards will be removed immediately with no refund of membership fees.
We protect our community fiercely.

We understand life happens!! Our cancellation policy is fair for both guests and hosts.

- No show - nil refund.
All refunds are processed automatically within 48 hours. We always recommend cancelling as early as possible to protect your points!!
JGo resolves disputes as quickly as possible.
- Layer 1 self resolution : 4 to 48 hours.
- Layer 2 system review : 48 to 72 hours.
- Layer 3 human review : up to 5 business days.
